Testa Rossa's Closure Leaves 6,500 Square Feet of Philadelphia Retail Space for Lease in Glen Mills
Less than two years after opening in the old Ruby's Diner box, Fearless Restaurants pulled the plug on Testa Rossa. The company is doubling down on a different concept in Wayne instead.

Testa Rossa closed at 919 Baltimore Pike in the Shoppes at Brinton Lake, Glen Mills, on August 25, after opening in December 2024 in the former Ruby's Diner space. Fearless Restaurants' director of business development, Sydney Grims, said sales at the Delaware County location never gained the momentum the company hoped for. The 6,500 square foot space currently has no announced replacement tenant.
Fearless Restaurants is redirecting the concept: the planned second Testa Rossa in Wayne became Martini & Roz, a different contemporary Italian concept opening fall 2026. All roughly 30 Testa Rossa employees were offered spots at Rosalie and White Dog Cafe, both in the same shopping center, which tells you the operator still believes in the real estate, even after pulling the original concept.
A 6,500 square foot box in an established shopping center, already built out for full-service dining with a proven co-tenancy of Rosalie and White Dog Cafe next door, is a real opportunity for another restaurant operator who wants the infrastructure without the buildout cost. The landlord doesn't need to re-market this cold, the sales history is now public and the operator relationship with the center is intact.

Why it matters
A built-out 6,500 square foot restaurant space just came open in an established Delaware County center with two proven neighbors already drawing traffic. That's a faster path to open than a shell space anywhere else.
